Skies of Honey is a mixed-media collage series featuring ethereal birds and butterflies and tiny golden bees swirling around the cosmos, pollinating the celestial gardens of our dreams. (Or, if that's too esoteric, let's just call it cool art for your fridge or filing cabinet!)
This one-of-a-kind piece is 3 inches wide, mounted on a thin wooden base, backed with a wide magnet, and sealed with a matte protective finish.
Proceeds from this sale will be donated to wild bird rescue and care.
Acorn and Berry is a treasury of wondrous things curated and handcrafted by Vanessa Laurin, a multi-disciplinary artist, artisan and musician whose deep connection to the natural world is reflected in her many creative outlets. She is affectionately known in the international wildlife rehabilitation community as Auntie Vee The Nest-Maker, through her efforts to supply specialized wild bird rescue centres with custom-made cozy nests.
The shop's mission is to raise funds for Ontario-based wild bird rescue and conservation organizations with a particular interest in species at risk. On behalf of the birds, their caregivers, and the Acorn and Berry team, we thank you for your support!
